Edge-Optimized LWIR Analytics with Agent-Driven Interactions

A plug-and-play thermal analytics stack integrating detection, pose estimation, and tracking on low-cost LWIR cameras for real-time edge deployment.

My contributions:

  • Built a multi-camera thermal dataset for model training and evaluation
  • Fine-tuned YOLO models for detection under hardware constraints
  • Optimized the pipeline for real-time operation on edge devices

ContriCare

Value-Driven Mutual Aid for Rural Eldercare

A recognition-driven help platform for rural elders, co-designed through mixed-methods fieldwork on ageing communities in China.

My contributions:

  • Conducted mixed-methods study on rural ageing and community support
  • Co-designed and prototyped the ContriCare platform
  • Integrated smart speakers, IoT safeguards, and incentive mechanisms
